  • Dr. Arthur Hulshizer, Owner

    Dr. Hulshizer (a.k.a Dr.Bud) graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in 1993.  He also received a Master of Science Degree in Biology from East Stroudsburg University in 1989 and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology from Delaware Valley College of Science and Agriculture in 1985. Dr. Hulshizer is originally from the Phillipsburg, NJ area.  He has worked at several private veterinary hospitals in the area over the years including 4 years at a local emergency hospital before starting his own practice. He has over 25 years experience in private practice as a veterinarian and 4 years as an emergency veterinarian.  In his spare time, he enjoys touring New England's lighthouses and cheering for the New Orleans Saints.

  • Dr. Suzanne DiNello-Schleicher

    Dr. Suzanne DiNello-Schleicher brings over ten years of experience as a primary care veterinarian to Community Veterinary Practice. She obtained her veterinary degree from University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in 2014 after graduating with her Bachelor of Science in chemistry and biology from Gettysburg College in 2010. 

    Dr. Suzanne grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area prior to moving to North Carolina in high school. She met her husband Chris, a PA native, in veterinary school, and they married in 2015.  They have two young children, Joseph and Katherine, and live together in Moore Township with their two cats, Lord Vader and Rey, and their Husky mix, Joy.  Dr. Suzanne also helps take care of her family's five horses and two barn cats who live at her mother's farm nearby. In her free time she enjoys reading, baking, and gardening with her kids.

    In addition to dogs and cats, Dr. Suzanne also provides care for small mammals including rabbits, ferrets, guinea pigs, and rodents. She particularly enjoys soft tissue surgery and has a passion for client education.  Her goal is to help pet owners understand their pet's condition so they can take an active role in their pet's health. 

  • Joanne Deremer, Office Manager

    Joanne joined the CVP team in November 2016. She has over 20 years experience as a Veterinary Technician. Joanne has always known that she wanted to work in the veterinary field. In addition to teching and filling in at the front desk she is also our office manager. In her spare time she enjoys the outdoors and spending time with her family and friends. She has two daughters and a son who she encourages to not only do their best, but also enjoy what they are doing. Joanne loves the change in seasons but her favorite time of the year is Fall. 

  • Copper - Office Assistant

     ***Copper passed in March 2021 and will forever be in our hearts. ***
    Copper was an orange domestic shorthair who joined the CVP family in the very beginning in 2006. Copper was diagnosed with diabetes in 2019 and lived out his golden years in the comfort of Dr. Hulshizer's house.

  • Levi - Greeter

    ***Levi joined Copper in February 2026. He brought so much joy to our clinic, and we will miss him dearly***
    Levi was an orange domestic shorthair who joined the CVP family in 2009.  He was usually at the front desk to greet anyone who walked through the door.  He enjoyed helping the girls at the front desk by laying on their charts and standing in front of the computer screen when they were trying to type.  In his free time, he enjoyed playing with his stuffed animals, napping and stealing your chair when you got up.

  • Haley Serfass

    Haley graduated from NCC/LCCC with a Veterinary Technician Associates degree in August of 2021. She has experience in the veterinary field since 2019. Haley also has an associate degree in Early Childhood Education from NCC in 2019. She has a ferret and two beagles and a ragdoll cat. Her hobbies include spending time with her family, friends and pets, shopping, traveling, line dancing, and playing volleyball. We welcomed Haley to our CVP family in August 2021.

  • Sabrina Galloway, CVT

    Sabrina has been in the veterinary field since 2020. She graduated from the NCC/LCCC Veterinary Technician Program in the fall of 2021 and received her license later that year after joining our team. She is your typical cat mom with three spoiled felines and also a dog. Her hobbies include spoiling her animals (....and Levi our hospital cat), doing puzzles and reading. Sabrina fit right in with our CVP family. 

  • Kristen Lengel, CVT

    Kristen started working with us in 2020 after spending over 15 years in retail. She graduated from Northampton Community College in December 2024 with her Veterinary Nurse degree and licensure. At home, Kristen has three dogs, four cats and a husband. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, watching football, camping and spending time in the garden or by the pool. We are so happy she decided to join our team.
